FOR ADULTS

There is no art form like theatre to encourage and develop language use and acquisition as well as contribute to building self-confidence, emotional and imaginative expression.  At any age, a new language can be mastered.  It is easier when it is enjoyable.  And, perhaps, more so when it is fun!

Created by Producing Artistic Director Bari Hochwald, this course ‘activates’ the English language with the fun and imaginative creativity of Anglo-theatrical techniques.  Courses run in 12 week sessions.  Classes are taught by FITC theatre artists and/or educators.

The course concludes with a small, casual performance in class for the family and friends AND!...the building blocks of confident communication in the English language – in public.

    * Engages the body, mind and emotions
    * Stretches the imagination and creativity
    * Utilizes improvisational and physical exercises
    * Explores dialog and verbal expression
    * Encourages a strong, healthy relationship to learning English
